Morgen M. Bowers

Morgen's practice includes general corporate work (including formation, governance, purchase and sales, contract, general counsel and financing), alcohol industry licensing, intellectual property law (focusing on trademark and copyright protection, licensing and enforcement), trusts and estates, and representation of banks, purchasers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Morgen began her legal practice in 1999 at a large international Wall Street law firm where she specialized in private and syndicated secured, unsecured and structured financings in the New York and Hong Kong offices. Morgen received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1999 where she was Senior Editor of the Law Review and was invited to join the Order of the Coif, and her B.A. from Bard College in 1990. She is admitted to practice in New York. When not practicing law, Morgen spends most of her time riding her horse, practicing agility with her dog, gardening and traveling. 

Sonya del Peral

Sonya's practice focuses on intellectual property, real estate, alcohol industry licensing and wills. She manages and serves as in-house legal counsel for Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York's first farm cidery, in Albany, NY. She spent the first five years of her legal practice in large law firms in New York City and Albany. In 1996, she opened her solo practice in Columbia County. Sonya received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Albany Law School in 1991, where she served as an Editor of the Albany Law Review, was named a Justinian Society Member, and was awarded the Nathan Burkan Memorial Copyright Award and the Selma Mintz Memorial Award. Sonya received a M.A.T. degree from SUNY Binghamton in 1984 where she was awarded the Outstanding Professional Performance Award, and her B.A. from SUNY Albany, summa cum laude, in 1980. Sonya is a fluent Spanish speaker and speaks intermediate French.
